Growing up in Minnesota, Shepherds’s Pie was a warm winter comfort food.  Living here on the sun tropical island of Okinawa, I guess I had just forgot about this.  It came up in a conversation with the girls, and we decided to try it out.  We don’t own an oven or microwave, and we try to cook whatever we can, in our outdoor dirty kitchen.  We used the dutch oven and regular charcoal and it came out more perfect than I can remember.
