Beef Ribs, Rib Eyes, and Loin Steaks BBQ

It’s been about a week since our last post. The kids are on Summer Break. Everyone is off tomorrow except for me, but let’s not let that spoil a good night of eating. Wifey called me from the market, I met her there after work. She has been talking about Chicken all weekend, but today she wanted Beef. No complaints here. We saw some beef ribs with a pretty good meat on them. Got a rack, a pack of Rib eyes, and a pack of thick cut loin.

Rubbed my favorite yakiniku sauce on, sprinkled on some salt, pepper, and garlic. Then started the pits. Pit Barrel Cooker for the Beef Ribs, and the charbroiler for the rest.

Lit the briquettes, and sautéed the veggies in cast iron. Added some hickory wood and started the beef.

Forgot a picture of the veggies here but they were in the cast irons.

Spritzed the Ribs with a spray bottle of water, beer, yakiniku sauce, and wotchester sauce.

They smoked for about 5 hours. Got an internal temp between the bones of about 205 before I pulled them off and let them rest.

This was a first for me, but amazing.

There is even enough for lunch tomorrow. We are fat and happy.
