Cast Iron Cookie

So, I was asked if we could make cookies by the girls.  Again, not having an oven makes us have to think of alternatives.

The Lodge deep covered skillet again come to the rescue.  We mixed up some of my mom’s peanut butter and m&m cookie dough, and pressed it into the skillet.  The girls are excited at this point with the idea of that big a cookie.  It turned out amazing.  One thing we learned  in this project was that cast iron keeps cooking.  We had pulled it off and set it aside until we were done eating.  It had gotten a little well done, lol.  We fixed that with a scoop of ice cream.  But will be careful next time.  Below is the link to the skillet I used for this.
